Learn By having Fun

Play is one of the most important aspects of a child’s life, they learn to think creatively and interact socially. They develop physically and discover emotional skills. In short, play is pivotal to child’s development. “Play is how children learn” says a pediatrician. Play helps children develop all kinds of skills. It is a one way to help him/her develop social skills and self-control.

“All work and no play make Jack a dull boy” says a famous proverb. We were wondering what kind of activities can be organized apart from teaching. As a result, the volunteers at Parahitam came up with a lot of fun filled activities for children at Satya Sai Trust.

A Little Play Goes A Long Way

We made them sing, organized a drawing and coloring event. They drew their favorite things like cars, cartoons, birds. We were blown off seeing their drawing skills! They played word building and Sac Race. To add along with this, they all wanted to relax but have some fun time, so we showed them the puzzle games. They were eager to know how to play initially but they seized it quickly. They were jumping in joy at the end. We could see their smiling faces and felt fortunate.
