To help foster eco-friendly environment and also to help avoid use of plastic ,usage of paper bags are inevitable .Paper bags can be reused and generates no pollution. This is the point why both as a business owner and the customer should promote the use of the same. Besides having many benefits ,one of the reasons why it is environment-friendly is that it helps in saving huge amounts of energy .
Newspapers, documents, notes from college students -papers are available in large numbers every day in all our homes. But are we using them in any way? Yes, we had a creative solution for this –Paper bags!
These easy, convenient and most importantly, free of cost bags can be made from old papers in the wink of an eye.
All the volunteers of Parahitam gathered at a place to make paper bags. All we needed was newspapers, glue and a pair of scissors. We had so much fun, recycling the old newspapers into bags. It took us less than 5 mins to create a single paper bag.
And what did we do after paper bags were made? We sold them at pharmacies and fancy stores where paper bags are more often used.
Papers are Bio-degradable, hence Eco-friendly
Volunteers gathered at Parahitam Foundation’s office.
Newspapers which were brought by volunteers were used to make paper covers.
We approached few shops to buy the paper covers. Amount collected was later used for charity purpose.
